Next Steps

There is a strong chance that the incoming administration and Congress will privatize Medicare and Social Security.  It is our goal to launch this program before Inauguration Day so that we can track our cost benefit to society, and be grandfathered into existence before safety net programs are gutted. That way, we can compete on upcoming contracts.  For these reasons, we must act quickly to support this program.  Please help us fulfill our goal by selecting all of the options below that apply.

1.  If you have time, skills, or a desire to help us raise awareness about this program, sign up to be a PHIERStarter by clicking HERE. 

2. If you want to contribute, assist us with our crowdfunding campaign, or volunteer your services, click HERE to become a PHIERStarter.

3.  For Patients/Caregivers: We are not offering services to patients/caregivers at this time (but please check again, soon!).  

  • We are currently recruiting and screening PHIERStarters to train and certify, ensuring that we are able to provide the highest quality of services to enrolled members.
  • Once we are funded and operational, our resource matching and respite/support services will be available to you, your loved ones, and anyone else in any community across the nation.  
  • Please register so that we can inform you when our services become available in your area, and we can avoid time-lag and hit the ground running.

4.  For Job seekers:  

  • Health and social workers, allied/mental health professionals, child and adult care providers, medical transport personnel are highly desired.  
  • We invite you to submit your resume to: jobs@phiers.org.

5.  For Community-based / Safety Net Programs and Organizations:

  • If seeking free marketing, referrals, technical assistance (for PHIERS services only) and fundraising support, register here.
  • For those wishing to play an active role in collaborative interventions to strengthen the safety net, register here.  You will be notified prior to the launch of our program.

6.  For public health and social safety net programs, free clinics and school districts:  

  • To participate in community-wide interventions and receive free PR, technical assistance (for PHIERS services only), contact us for a free consultation on how we can tailor our interventions to help you better achieve your social mission!  Remember, we exist to enable members of the community to better help themselves, as well as, those in their local communities.
  • For those wishing to play a role on the community oversight committee (as PHIERStarters), please send email and your resume to jobs@phiers.org, stating your goals for your safety net region.

Reminder:  We are in recruiting, tailoring and training mode, and are not offering services to patients or caregivers at this time.

7.  Register for updates, webinars and training schedules in order to stay abreast of our progress.  When the time comes, we’ll be ready, and we hope that you will be, too!
